Condition
The print is in good condition, the full sheet printed to the edges. The left and right sheet edges of the wove paper support have been unevenly trimmed and the bottom right corner is creased. The support with time stain along the top, left and right sheet edges and unobtrusive surface soiling in the margins.

Catalogue Note
Armand Parent was a prominent violinist and music professor, and was a part of Redon’s intellectual circle. The two were close friends; Redon completed a portrait of Parent that is included in the first volume of the Wildenstein Institute's catalogue raisonné on the artist.
