The very rare woodcut, 1910, a strong impression showing the grain of the wood, the second state (of three), one of three known impressions cited by Gercken and the only known on this paper, the lower margin trimmed through the signature and inscription, on smooth canary yellow wove paper

Condition

With narrow margins, in good condition apart from two diagonal, flattened creases towards the upper and lower sheet edges, an inconsistency in the paper tone at the upper sheet edge verso (associated with previous adhesive) faintly visible recto, two very small spots of blue ink showing through recto from the ink stamp verso, two small fox marks in the image at right, unframed.
