Etching, 1641, a good, clear impression of the only state, New Hollstein's only state, on paper with part of a Strasbourg Lily watermark
Condition
With a thread margin below, trimmed on the platemark in places at sides and above (slightly unevenly at left), in good condition apart from a 1.8cm tear at the right sheet edge in the unprinted area, two pinholes in the left of the image, areas of thinning at the sheet corners with an associated small loss, nick and pinholes at the upper left corner of the sheet and a minute tear at the lower left corner, two unobtrusive, flattened vertical creases at the right of the sheet, very pale scattered fox marks, unframed. (A vertical drying fold at centre).
