Etching and drypoint, 1656, a very good impression of the only state, New Hollstein's only state, printing with touches of burr, delicate plate tone and inky plate edges
Condition
With small (3-4mm) margins, in good condition apart from a few tiny nicks in the right sheet edge, a small thinned area at the lower sheet edge and a couple of further thinned areas at right sheet edge (due to previous mounting), light skinning verso (due to removal of previous mounting), remains of tape at right sheet edge verso, a previous hinge at lower left corner verso, unframed (?)
