Condition
The ceramic is sound. There are some small scattered surface losses to the exterior where imperfections in the clay cooking vessel have been repelled over time, and which are inherent to the material of the support. These losses could be consolidated to prevent further deterioration. There is a stable firing crack of approximately 4cm. to the neck of the vessel which is original. This work is in good overall condition.
