Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down. The sheet is affixed to the mount on the verso of the four corners and at the centre of the left and right edges. The work is floating in the mount. The upper edge is deckled and slightly unevenly cut. The sheet is time-stained and there are a few faint scattered spots of foxing. Some minor creasing, tiny nicks and handling marks along the perimeter consistent with age. There are some faint flattened creases in the upper right corner and a small area of skimming to the surface of the paper that has possibly been restored. Another small crease visible towards the centre of the upper edge, above the figure's head. The work is in overall good condition.
