Condition

This contact print is in generally excellent condition. It is on stiff double-weight paper with a glossy surface and it is trimmed to the image. Upon very close examination in raking light, a pin-point-sized impression that does not appear to break the emulsion is visible in the central portion of the image. There is minor edge wear, and a small isolated area of chipping along the upper right edge. The tips of the corners are bumped, and there is a faint crease or small clamp impression at the lower right corner. None of the above detracts in any way from the fine appearance of this photograph. Yellowed adhesive on the reverse of the photograph suggests it was previously affixed to a mount.
