Grading this printing-out-paper print on a scale from 1 to 10 - a 10 being a print that has rich, deep dark tones and highlights that retain all of their original detail - this print rates a 10. It has saturated dark tones, bright creamy highlights, and a smooth high-gloss surface. The print exhibits an extremely high degree of detail, from the intricate carving of the statue to the luminous leaves of the trees in the background.
This print is in generally excellent condition. The print is trimmed to the image, as is customary, and only a portion of the negative number is visible. There is minor edge chipping, primarily along the left edge and the lower right corner. Upon close inspection, soft diagonal impressions are barely visible at each corners. A small deposit of indeterminate nature, possibly foxing, is visible along the left edge. In raking light, a few small soft creases from handling are visible, none of which appears to break the emulsion.
