Condition
This photograph, on light- to medium-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good condition. As is sometimes typical of Francesca Woodman's lifetime prints, it has been printed slightly asymmetrically on the sheet. Portions of the composition intended to be cropped remain visible in the margins.
When examined in raking light, several small, soft handling creases that do not break the emulsion are visible in the image and the margins. There are 2 pinholes, near the upper left and right corners. There is a gray area, likely due to stray exposure to light in the darkroom, in the upper left margin and some minor soiling in the lower right margin. There is some wear at the margin edges, with minor rippling at the right and left edges, and bumped and creased corners.
There is some minor soiling on the reverse.
