- gelatin silver print
a unique object, mounted, signed and dated in pencil on the mount, 1939
Provenance
Collection of the photographer’s husband, Eugene Bielawski
Acquired from the above, 1988
Condition
This unique photogram is on double-weight paper with a subtle surface sheen. It is in generally very good to excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, the following are visible: faint silvering in the dark area along the upper edge; and several linear impressions near the lower edge. There is intermittent, minor emulsion chipping along the lower edge. The print is lifting slightly from the mount at the corners.
This photogram is mounted to slick, off-white board. There is a thin excess of yellowed dry-mounting tissue on the mount at the perimeter of the print. The mount is faintly soiled, mostly along the edges, and the corners are softly bumped.
'MDP 115' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse of the mount.
