Condition

This print, on medium weight, semi-glossy paper, is in generally good condition. It is trimmed to the image, although the bottom edge shows a very thin sliver of remaining white margin. The edges are gently curling. A very faint scratch can be seen under raking light above the deer and there is a diagonal crease across the lower right corner that appears to break the emulsion. A few areas of expertly applied retouching can be seen under raking light across the surface of the print, as well as several areas exhibiting subtle signs of mildew, more evident around Jessie's head. The emulsion at the upper left corner and along the right edge is chipped and peeling slightly.
