Condition

This photograph, with a slightly pebbled surface and mounted to thick paper, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, the following are visible: a very faint abrasion at the center right; and several, scattered deposits of retouching, likely original. None of the above detract from the generally excellent appearance. There is minor edge chipping. Glue and paper remains around the periphery on the reverse suggest that the print was at one time affixed to a larger secondary mount. There are also two tape remains at the lower left and right corners. The following notations are in pencil on the reverse: 'S.'; 'ORG-2481 XI'; 'PS32239'; 'S-73'; and '7-47 (?).'
