Description

  • Massimo Vitali
  • Coney Island Triptych (#2328/2329/2330)
  • 3 chromogenic prints
a triptych of mural-sized chromogenic prints, each Diasec mounted, one signed, dated, annotated, and editioned '2/6' in ink on a label on the reverse, 2006 (3)

Condition

This triptych of chromogenic prints is in generally excellent condition. The colors appear vibrant and saturated. The tonality is somewhat thinner in the upper portion of the images (in the sky area and in the sand) as is typical with Vitali's beach scenes. Each panel is Diasec-mounted: front-mounted to acrylic and back-mounted to aluminum. Upon very close examination, a few faint scratches and scuffs are visible on the Diasec face. There is an aluminum mounting wall bracket on the reverse of each.
