Condition

This platinum-palladium print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination, there is some light, scattered soiling in the margins. On the reverse of the mount there are active adhesive remnants at each corner. The upper portion of the reverse is lightly soiled, and there are some abrasions at the upper right edge. The annotations in pencil on the reverse are as follows: 'Amber Valeta [sic] (New York, May 7, 1996)'; 'Bienfang Paper on Aluminum'; 'multiple coating and printing'; '(1) platinum-palladium (2) platinum-palladium'; 'print made August 1996'; '2/10'; 'F-869'; and 'RM.' Two other printing information stamps read 'Hand-coated by the photographer,' initialed by the photographer in pencil, and 'Deacidified.' A fourth stamp reads 'REF.' and is annotated '4126' in pencil. The Vogue copyright stamp is dated '1996.'
