Portfolio comprenant 12 tirages argentiques contrecollés sur carton. Liste des planches numérotée au feutre 68/100. Chacun signé au crayon dans la marge et titré au crayon sur le montage d'une main inconnue. Un montage dédicacé Happy Birthday to Ricky Love Mama, un autre Ricky y Mama 24 May 1976. Coffret original.

Condition

The box with traces of use and age. Two mounts (the ones dedicated) with foxing not affecting prints. The prints are in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note

Richard Leacock (1921-2011) was nicknamed "Ricky" by his friends. Pioneer of  Direct Cinema his aesthetic was close to Minor White's with whom he taught at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
Minor White (1908-1976) spent ten years teaching at MIT, from 1965 to 1976.
