Description

the stand in the form of a lyre within a laurel wreath surmounted by a shell, the adjustable brass stem raised on a tripartite base

Condition

This charming stand is in fair condition, with some minor losses to the gilding and decoration. There are marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and a small chip to one of the top leaves. The nozzles to the movable candle-arms are missing; the triform base with decoration worn and socle regilt.
