each painted with flowerheads on a petal-leaf ground in iron-red with gilt highlights, comprising a teapot and cover; an ovoid tea caddy and cover; a sucrier and cover; a large saucer; twelve tea cups and twelve small saucers, with a 19th century display bracket and showcase

Condition

There is wear to the gilding overall. Sucrier and cover: Both the sucrier and cover have been restored with associated overpainting. Large saucer: Some fritting to the rim. Cups: One with handle restuck; one with two hairline cracks to rim and two cups with one hairline crack to rim. Saucers: one with three hairline cracks and restoration to rim; one with a chip to the rim, and star crack to base; one with a hairline crack to rim and one with star crack to base.
