The board appears sound. The edges of the board are worn in places, and there are some spots of loss around the edges of the work. There are some scratches, knocks and scuffs to the work in places, most apparent but not limited to along the lower edge of the work, with some resultant paint loss in places, including a spot near the centre of the left vertical edge. There is some surface dirt, matter and studio detritus across the work. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is presented in a simple dark wooden frame.
