en forme de vase canope reposant sur un léger piédouche, l'anse en forme d'une paire d'ailes moulurées et ciselées, les deux faces du corps légèrement gravées d'une étoile à six branches entourée d'ailes et de cobras, surmontée d'un faucon, le bec verseur reposant sur deux pieds joints, la prise du couvercle en tête d'Egyptienne, numéro d'inventaire D.W 3184

Condition
In overall good condition - engraving worn, the cover inside rim bent with one small tear - one tiny spot of missing gilding near the base of the spout. Well marked. Maker's mark partly legible under the base, legible inside cover. Also stamped with later control mark (charançon within rectangle) and another mark, oval, with letters LFH? inside, possibly for Léon Helft collection mark.
Extremely rare and elegant piece with unusual design.
