la tasse en jaspe, l'anse ornée d'une tête de chien de chasse, le corps à monture de scènes de chasse représentant un chasseur portant une biche, accompagné d'un chien, un chasseur à côté de son cheval discutant avec un autre allongé, un autre remplissant d'avoine l'auge d'un cheval couché sous un toit de chaume, un chasseur accostant une femme en train de puiser de l'eau dans une fontaine, un enfant le tirant par le pan de sa veste, la soucoupe en agate brune et verte ornée d'un décor de forêts et château en ruine, représentant un chasseur, son fusil sur l'épaule, accompagné de ses deux chiens, une femme, son enfant et son chien s'approchant d'une fontaine, deux hommes s'adressant à un chien et un chasseur sonnant de la trompe accompagné de deux chiens, un cerf gisant à ses pieds

Une superbe théière en jaspe sanguin et montures en or extrêmement élaborées et ciselées de scènes de chasse très semblables fut vendue chez Christie's Londres, Silver and Objects of Vertu from the Collection of the Barons Nathaniel and Albert von Rothschild, 8 juillet 1999, lot 121. Cette théière apparaît pour la première fois dans l'inventaire du palais du Baron Nathaniel von Rothschild's (1836-1905), sis à Vienne, Theresianumgasse 14, mené après son décès en 1906, et décrite ainsi: 1 Theekanne Blut-Jaspis goldmontirt modern (1 théière, jaspe sanguin, montures en or, moderne), p. 177, no. 841.

A magnificent bloodstone teapot with elaborate gold mounts chased with very similar hunting subjects was sold, Silver and Objects of Vertu from the Collection of the Barons Nathaniel and Albert von Rothschild, Christie’s, 8 July 1999, lot 121. The teapot was first mentioned in the inventory of Baron Nathaniel von Rothschild's (1836-1905) palace at Theresianumgasse 14, Vienna, drawn up in 1906 following his death the previous year, and described as:  1 Theekanne Blut-Jaspis goldmontirt modern (1 teapot, bloodstone, gold-mounted, modern), p. 177, no. 841.
