Condition

Overall the condition of the ivory is good, with minor dirt and some wear to the surface consistent with age and handling. There is some rubbing to the surface of the ivory due to use. There is some stable hairline splitting to the ivory consistent with the material. There is a circular plug to the ivory around the letter W. There is also a very small hole with dark fill to the letter B. There is wear to the red paint of the letters. There are a few small slightly open naturally occurring veins in the ivory.
