Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a series of small original circular and irregular shaped plugs and minor casting flaws around the terrasse. The calipers are cast separately and in two sections, and slightly open joints are visible. There are a few further small casting flaws including minor pitting to the proper left arm. There is wear to the dark lacquered patina, particularly at the high points, including minor scratching. Minor chips and scratches to the base.
