There is also some rubbing at the high points, in particular to the saint's nose and chin. There is some stable splitting to the wood consistent with the material, notably an open split running through the lion's midriff. The sword is slightly loose. There is a possible loss to the helmet at the back. The terrasse is reinforced with two pieces of wood at the back of the underside.
