Condition
The statuette is an attractive fragment, the head being lost. There are chips and abrasions to the alabaster throughout, in particular at the high points and the edges of the drapery. There is an area of erosion to the alabaster at the proper right shoulder with some stable fissures. A section at the proper right shoulder appears to have been reattached, and some glue is visible at the back. There is a hole to the drapery around the proper left hand, which may have supported a now-lost attribute. There is some white residue to some of the crevices of the drapery at the back. Otherwise the condition is stable, with some wear and dirt consistent with age. There are a few traces of blue polychromy and gilding. There are two drilled holes to the underside.
