Condition
The following condition report is provided by Hamish Dewar who is an external specialist and not an employee of Sotheby's: The panel is uncradled. There are a few scratches to the varnish layer. Inspection under ultraviolet light shows a very opaque varnish layer and no retouchings are visible. There may be other retouchings beneath the varnish layer that are not visible under ultra-violet light. Overall the painting appears to be in good condition. The work is framed.
