In the collection of the family of the present owners for at least two generations.
In the collection of the family of the present owners for at least two generations.
Condition
The support is constructed of a single flat thin panel of oak. The paint surface is stable, and the varnish is a bit patchy and yellowed.
There are no major damages visible to the naked eye, but a few minor old and now discoloured retouchings are scattered in the background. Inspection under UV reveals very little as the varnish is very thick and fluoresces opaque.
In seemingly very good overall condition, could do with a clean and re-varnish.
Offered in a simple carved 'Dutch style' black wood frame.
