Condition

The canvas has an old lining that has not overly pressed the paint surface, which is stable with an even and only slightly discoloured varnish. There are no major damages visible. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals only a handful of very tiny retouchings, but otherwise there is very little restoration work and the painting is in overall untouched and original condition.
