Condition
The canvas has been lined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a very minor spot retouching in the mountain, left, and in the sky, upper right, as well as retouching to a superficial, horizontal scratch, approx. 4 cm. long, and some minor frame abrasion in the upper right corner. There is also sensitive retouching to a vertical scratch, approx. 15 cm. long, which runs up from above the fisherman, right. In overall very good condition without a need for further intervention.
