Condition

Laid down. Tips of lower right and upper left corners are missing. Horizontal crease running across the sheet (across the upper section). Some staining at the upper margin and in the upper right corner. Stain at the lower margin in the centre. Overall in good condition - colours fresh and vibrant, strong image.

Nicolas Delobel was a pupil of Nicholas Vleughels (1668-1737) and accompanied Vleughels whilst in Rome on expeditions to draw antique monuments in the Roman Campagna.
