Catalogue Note

Previously attributed to Giulio Angolo del Moro, this finely executed study with its vibrant blue wash is closer in style to his nephew Marco Angolo del Moro, and can be compared with a drawing by him, depicting Pilgrims venerating the tomb of a Saint, in a private collection.1
