Condition

The watercolour is in fine condition. The colours are well preserved. There are a number of tiny foxmarks visible in the sky area, however these do not disturb the balance of the composition.

This atmospheric watercolour is an early work and demonstrates Glover's interest in not only observing effects of nature, but also the influence of artists of the previous generation such as Alexander Cozens and his son John Robert.
