Condition

Laid down on the Gelosi mount. Overall in good condition. A light brown stain to the right of the composition from the hand of Sophonisba 's attendant toward the margin. Another light brown stain below the right arm of Sophonisba to the left of the composition and one towards the right bottom corner. Very few tiny darker spots scattered around. A ridge running horizontally above Sophonisba's chest. Two small round losses at the level of the vase to the left. Media in good condition.
