- pine / polar
- each: 68cm. high, 36cm. wide; 2ft. 2¾in., 1ft. 2¼in.
each with a cartouche shaped plate, the cresting with a stylised scallopshell and grotesque mask with a gilded metal twin branch candelarm, the frame carved with scrolls, acanthus, ivy leaves and lambrequins; formerly fitted for electricity
Condition
In overall good conserved condition.The mirror plate on one on the lower section is broken and will need to be replaced and on another it will need some attention. There are some construction cracks and also areas where the frame is lifting from the plate on some of them but this can easily be restored. There are some minor losses to the gilding as visible from the catalogue photograph which can easily be touched up.
