comprising of banners and sashes of silk and linen, of various dimensions and some in tied bow format, others striped rectangular lengths, some with fringing along lower edge, most with differing motifs and/or inscriptions applied in goldleaf lettering, for example Wir Deutschen furchten Gott sonst nichts in der Weit and some dated, for example, Das Offizierkorps des chem R.J.R., 266, Hamburg, 26.-28. 8. 1921, and another Die dankbaren en Karlsruher 24 Juli 1892

Condition
Cotton, linen and silk. Some cut and reduced in length. Lettering faded and partially lacking on some. Some with colour run. Some in more distressed condition than others.
