  • bronze, gilt patina, in a partially ebonised wood frame inlaid with gilt bronze
with two labels on the reverse of the frame inscribed respectively: Feudalmuseum Schloss Wernigerode / Staatliches Museum, and P V Schö.5

Condition

Overall the condition of the reliefs is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surfaces consistent with age. There is some wear to the patina and some dark spotting. The wood frames are in good condition with some dirt and wear, including some staining, very minor worming, and a few slightly open but stable joints. The bronze inlay is slightly loose at the top right corner. There are a few chips to the ebonised outer frame.
