A pair of Chinese Canton famille-rose vases Qing dynasty, 19th century

each lobed ovoid body rising to a tall flaring neck set with butterfly handles, the shoulder moulded in high relief with four gilt chilong, brightly enamelled around the exterior with panels enclosing figures reserved on a floral spray and precious object ground, fitted as lamps; together with a similar pair, also fitted as lamps

These are in good condition and mounted as lamps, but one pair of vases has a couple of minor areas of restoration to the side of the base.
