together with three other oak chests, one with Mannerist style carved decoration; another inscribed 'Zum / 1 April 1895 / Aus Der / Landschaft Angelen'; the last with a metal plaque dated 1 April 1895.

Condition

Overall in reasonable condition. The painted box with one large chip and an age crack across the centre of the top. The other boxes all structurally sound. With old marks and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use.
