the leather ground lid mounted with repousse brass medallion of Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, enamel banded with inscription "Uns Deutschen kann nur durch Deutsche geholfen werden! – Friederich Ludwig Jahn" with Prince Bismarck coat of arms above and enamel cartouche "1815-1895", with gilt bronze handles and scrolling feet. The interior velvet and silk lined, embossed August Klein Wien Graben n. 2; together with a carved oak folio with a print of an allegory surrounded by carved oak leafs and inscriptions 'Otto Von Bismarck', '1815' and '1895', the interior with a printed dedication

Condition

Overall in good original condition. The brass mounts to the front are dirty and would benefit from a clean according to taste. Otherwise the case is ready to place. The paper sheets are again in good condition. The top sheets have some foxing and very minor rips to the edges but are secure.
