the front with the coat of arms of Prince Bismarck, the back with inscribed cartouche 'Dem Kanzler des Deutschen Reiches Fuersten Bismarck zum 1 April 1885 Gewidmet von Buergern zu Zoeblitz', broken foot

Condition

In overall fair condition, colouring, gilding and carving in good condition.. There is a minor damage to the crowned elm in the coat of arms. The upper section of the socle, where it meets the body of the vase, is damaged and requires conservation in order for the metal rod to hold the body securely. Presently is not secure. There are small chips to corner edges of the plinth base. With label from the Feudalmuseum Schloss Werniregode and inscribed inventory number from Schonhausen.
