Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There are some extremely minor spots of rubbing around the extreme edges of the canvas, most apparent at both the lower edges and in the centre of the lower edge. There are one or two specks of surface dirt and studio detritus, most apparent in the upper right quadrant. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals some fluorescence to the pigments, thought to be in keeping with the artist's materials.
The work is presented in a simple painted and gilded wooden frame.
