The sheet is attached to the backing card with one tab at each of the upper corners. The sheet undulates very slightly and there are some slight creases and handling marks, most apparent towards the lower and upper horizontal edges, but otherwise the sheet appears sound. There is also a very small crease in both the upper right and lower left corners, and a very tiny tear towards the upper left edge, measuring approximately 1mm., none of which are visible in the present mount. There are some traces of surface dirt and slight studio detritus, most apparent along the upper horizontal edge, and there may be some slight discolouration to the sheet. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition, with fresh passages of pencil throughout.
