Condition
Original canvas. The stretcher is slightly warped. There is a small repair patch visible to the reverse of the canvas in the lower right quadrant, which appears to be in keeping with the Artist's materials. There is some slight wear apparent to the canvas at each of the extreme corners. There are some fine lines of craquelure apparent to the light grey pigment in the upper right corner. There is some light surface dirt in places. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a simple painted wooden frame.
