Condition

The sheet is fully laid down onto a backing card. The sheet consists of two sheets which have been laid on a further sheet and the join is visible. The sheets are lifting slightly where they are adhered to the sheet behind. There are scattered pin holes at the edges of the sheet. There are two further hole punches to the sheet at the upper and lower left corners, thought to be in keeping with the artist's working methods. The edges of the sheet are slightly uneven in keeping with the artist's working methods. There are two horizontal lines of creasing to the sheet at the lower edge with further areas of softer creasing to the sheet particularly at the corners and edges. There are several scattered minor scuffs, rubbing and light scratches to the sheet. There are a couple of tiny nicks and tears at the extreme edges of the sheet. There is some discolouration to the sheet and some dirt and studio detritus possibly in keeping with the artist's working methods. Subject to the above the work appears to be in good condition. The work is presented in a painted wooden gilt frame with a hessian slip, held under glass.
