Condition

The sheet is affixed to the mount with one tab at each of the upper corners. The edges of the sheet are slightly worn and uneven in places, thought to be inkeeping with the artist's materials. There is a tear apparent to the upper right vertical edge, and there is some wear and scattered creases to the sheet and collaged elements in places, including but not limited to the lower horizontal edge, with one or two very small further possible tears. There are several very tiny pinholes apparent in the upper right corner, thought to be inkeeping with the artist's working method. One or two edges of the collaged elements appear to be lifting slightly, but otherwise the collaged elements appear sound and securely attached. There are some very small flecks of loss apparent to the silver paint in the upper left quadrant. There is some light surface dirt and studio detritus, and some staining and discolouration to the sheet, most apparent in the upper right corner. There are one or two tiny spots of foxing, only apparent upon extremely close inspection. The work appears to be in original condition. The work is float mounted and presented in a simple painted wooden frame, held under glass.
