Literature
Alastair Grieve, The Sculpture of Robert Adams, London, 1992, cat. no.673, illustrated p.240 (another cast).
Condition
The sculpture appears sound. There is some extremely minor rubbing to some of the protruding edges of the work, several extremely tiny nicks to the front of the work and some extremely tiny light surface scratches in places, only visible upon very close inspection. There are some very small pit marks to the work, thought to be in keeping with the artist's technique. The surface colour is slightly uneven in places. There is some light surface dirt and one or two minor instances of oxidisation. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
The sculpture is freestanding.
