Condition

This work is in good overall condition as viewed. There is some very light wear along the edges of the work due to the abrasions with the frame. There is a small spot of discoloration at the upper right corner of the work. There is a very small, 1 cm long area of paint loss at branch on left side of the work. There are some pinhole sized areas of paint loss at protruding dents along the lower outlines of the doves and on the branch beneath them. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some spots of restoration around the tails and edges of the birds and on the branch below them. Visible under ultraviolet light are very few, sporadic and tiny spots of restoration at surface. Framed, in original frame.
