The tones in the catalogue’s illustration are in line with the original, in particular with respect to the dress and the elegant blue cloak. On the other hand, the catalogue’s image shows the face’s tones as being very cold while in the original they are slightly more reddish. The pastel is framed in a gilded frame, probably not original. It is enclosed by a small, modern wooden board and hasn’t been opened. The painting is fairly in good condition though a few, scattered losses of colour in the background, on the left of her face, are visible.
