Both drawings are on vellum and not on paper as stated on the catalogue. Both vellums have been glued on cardboard in less recent times. Both vellums have been framed in wooden, gilded, Tuscan-baroque frames. Both vellums have some scrapes on the background, especially near the margins. The still life illustrated on the left on the catalogue has some retouches that slightly interfere with the flowers on the right side, while the golden blue vases and the flowers are in good condition in both works.
