Natural pearl and diamond necklace, Bolin

Composed of four rows of natural pearls measuring from approximately 2.75 to 3.75mm, supporting a detachable pendant of open work design, set with a natural blister pearl surrounded with cushion-shaped, circular- and single-cut diamonds, and a detachable pendant set with a slightly baroque drop shaped natural pearl measuring approximately 9.80 x 10.45 x 14.75mm, length approximately 380mm, additional brooch fitting, maker's marks for W.A. Bolin, import marks.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77299, stating that the slightly baroque drop-shaped pearl weighing approximately 9.80 carats, measuring approximately 9.80 x 10.45 x 14.75mm and the four hundred and thirty roundish to oval, button and barrel shaped pearls measuring from approximately 2.60 to 3.75mm, were found to be natural, saltwater; and that the button-shaped pearl weighing 5.67 carats, measuring 10.85 x 11.07 x 7.61mm, was found to be a saltwater natural blister pearl. Later brooch fitting also with maker's and import marks, additionally stamped 18K for 18 carat gold. Pearls of white to light cream body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones, with overall good skin and lustre, a few growth marks and blemishes; for further details on the pearls, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50 - 5.50 carats, on average I-K colour, a few of yellow tint, SI-I clarity. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 47 grams.
