- Gem-set, Diamonds, 18K Yellow Gold
Of twin floral design, set with cushion-shaped sapphires of yellow, blue and violet tints, embellished with calibré-cut pink tourmalines and old European-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat yellow and white gold, signed Cartier.
Condition
Signed Cartier. The brooch mounting stamped with French import assay mark for 18 karat gold and the pin stamped with French import assay marks for 14 karat gold. The yellow sapphire weighing approximately 6.00 carats, of light saturation, with minor typical inclusions, some scratches, nicks, abrasions and minor chips. Sapphires weighing approximately 25.00 carats in total, twelve of blue colour and light to medium light saturation, one of purple colour and medium light saturation, all with minor typical inclusions, abrasions, nicks, fine scratches and some with minor chips. Tourmaline weighing approximately 1.80 carats in total, purplish pink of light saturation, with minor typical inclusions, abrasions and one with a minor chip. Diamonds weighing approximately 0.80 carat in total, about H-I colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear and minor discolouration to the metal, in very good condition.
